✨ Children’s Art Classes – All Things Paint! ✨

This term is all about painting—exploring different styles, techniques, and creative freedom through colour and movement.

From Pollock-style paint splashing (yes, we will splash and celebrate the joy of messy art!) to Impressionism, children will experiment with a wide range of painting approaches.

We’ll explore:

• Different brush strokes

• Abstract and expressive painting

• Creative ways to apply paint

• Building confidence through experimentation

Who knew you could paint with so many things? We’ll use bubble wrap, squeegees, paint brushes, straws, palette knives, sponges, and more!

Throughout the term, children will discover new tools, techniques, and styles—learning that painting doesn’t have rules, just possibilities 🎨

Home Education Lessons

Suitable for children aged 7+
(Classes can be adapted for younger or older children—please message for more information.)

About the Classes

Creative classes are an important part of children’s development. Art encourages imagination, builds confidence, supports emotional expression, and strengthens problem-solving and fine-motor skills.
My lessons are designed to be fun, pressure-free, and accessible for all abilities, offering children the chance to explore different artistic materials and techniques.

Helen, the artist and tutor, is fully DBS checked.

Parents can either remain throughout the sessions or you can leave the children. Tea, coffee and dilute juice will be available.
