* First part of the term- Illustration and the creative mind
Designed for older children who love to draw and create, this after-school art club explores the exciting world of illustration. Taking inspiration from favourite books, films, characters and animals, students will develop their own artistic style while experimenting with a range of creative techniques.

Working with pen and ink, pencil, watercolour, acrylic paint, printmaking and 3D materials, they'll build new skills and confidence as they create expressive, imaginative artwork. Throughout the term, students will work towards producing a large-scale illustrated piece or a collection of smaller illustrations to showcase their creativity.

* Second part of the term- Halloween
Get ready for a spooky season of creativity! This Halloween-themed club is perfect for young artists who love all things eerie and imaginative. From haunted houses and mysterious creatures to pumpkins, witches and ghostly characters, students will explore Halloween through illustration and mixed media.

(Classes can be adapted for younger or older children, if you feel this class would be suited for your child but they are not in those school years please message for more information.)

Small group of no more than 8 children, so all children get the help and guidance needed

About the Classes

Creative classes are an important part of children’s development. Art encourages imagination, builds confidence, supports emotional expression, and strengthens problem-solving and fine-motor skills.
My lessons are designed to be fun, pressure-free, and accessible for all abilities, offering children the chance to explore different artistic materials and techniques.

• Helen, the artist and tutor, is fully DBS checked.
• A bit about Helen the tutor- 

Helen is the founder and creative artist behind SunnyJolly Designs. She studied at Leeds College of Art and went on to specialise in Surface Pattern Design at Bretton Hall University.

Passionate about inspiring creativity, Helen creates fun, engaging classes where children can explore a variety of artistic techniques, build confidence, and express themselves through art. Her aim is to help every child enjoy the creative process and leave each session feeling proud of what they've made.

• Parents can either remain throughout the sessions or you can leave the children.
•  Blackcurrant, orange juice and water is available for all children
